After hearing so much about this product, I decided to give it a try.  Once I did - there was no turning back.

Fragrance

It has no special 'ooh-la-la' fragrance to it.  It is simply a gel that works.

Consistency

This gel has the consistency of Let's Jam.  Do your remember that stuff?!

Quick story: When Let's Jam first came out, I slathered it on my head to slcik it back into a shiny ponytail.  I was on a field trip for school and laid my head back on the leather bus seat.  Got up and guess what song they were singing to me...."You've go the Soul Glow"!!!  Yeah, shine all over the seat. LOL!

Anywhoo, consider this to be a more natural version of Let's Jam without the soul glow effect.  It is a tacky gel to the touch and does not get hard or stiff.

Functionality

It works!  I have used this gel for loc re-twists and even mixed it with a few of my other favorite products to yield a soft hold with a natural sheen and bounce-back effect.  This is hands-down the go-to product for lock re-twisting for me.  The hair stays in place and is not stiff to the touch.  This is a water-based gel, so flaking is not an issue.

Investment: $7.99 - $23.99 (plus shipping and handling)
Note: You can also purchase this from the All Tressed Up (salon) if you're in town

Ingredients: Coconut oil, Olive oil, Safflower oil, Peach basil and Aloe; African Shea Butter; extracts of Calendula flowers, Coltsfoot, Horsetail, Birch, Neem, Rosemary and Onions; plant proteins, vegetable placenta extract, Biotin, d-Panthenol, vegetable glycerin, essential oil of Rose and natural preservatives with vitamins A, B, C and E.
