Yet another LaVida Given By Nature product that has been put to the test. The name alone is very intriguing. Let's go in on this one...
Packaging
Unlike the other two products I have reviewed from this line, this particular product does not come in a flip-top bottle. This is key. I want to be able to actually use my product and with this one the jar was perfect because of the consistency of the product. It comes in a jar reminiscent of the good 'ol (not so much) grease jars we grew up using. Dax immediately comes to mind. Oh, the memories! This is sooo not Dax though...!!! Again her color scheme and graphic design is very professional. Hands down, the presentation is on point.
Fragrance
Ginger is the first word in the product's name and that is what I got a shot of first and foremost. Because I am not a huge fan of ginger as a fragrance for my hair, I was a bit torn with this one. It was certainly not awful, but definitely not as tantalizing as the Tahitian Coconut Body Oil or the Carrot & Castor Oil Conditioning Hair Oil.
Consistency
Because of the jar, I assumed the consistency would be similar to that of a grease. I was surprised to find that it was much smoother and not as stiff. That was definitely a pleasant surprise. You can tell a lot of love energy was put into creating this product.
Functionality
Shine! Shine! Shine! I used this along with the Carrot & Castor Oil Hair Conditioning Oil. This product in particular works well for twist-outs and does not create that tacky residue that some products may yield. I experienced considerably less frizz and healthier looking hair even after wearing my hair untwisted for several days.

is known to be out of stock more often than not and that is because it is soooooo wonderful! This is another one of my favorite products to use on my natural tresses. Once again, Carol's Daughter got me hooked with another tantalizing fragrance and this time it is the scent of lemongrass! It is such a pleasant, yet awakening fragrance. Perfect to begin your day with a refreshing aroma.
