I will admit that I am a procrastinator and somewhat of a poor planner. I had to purchase this natural moisturizing body bar because I knew that I would not be able to make it to my beloved Trader Joe's for the soap that I love and would need to use the next day. I went to a local grocery store and fortunately they had a natural care aisle.
I actually enjoy many of the Tom's of Maine products so I was drawn to that particular section. After reading the label, I was intrigued and made the purchase.
Sniff
Lavender. That is exactly what the box read and that was the predominant fragrance. Lavender is known for its ability to relax. What a lovely shower experience when you're a tad stressed! This bar gave me an aromatherapy and cleansing session all in one.
Experience
Label-reading is a must. It clearly reads "No artificial fragrances, colors, or preservatives. No synthetic detergents. Biodegradable. No animal fats. Tom's of Main products are tested for safety without the use of animals." As if that wasn't enough, when I opened the box the soap was sealed in biodegradable plastic wrap. Wow! The box in itself is a lesson on oils and the use of plants for skin and body care.
One of the first natural soaps I used was the Trader Joe's Honey & Oatmeal Soap and as you know, I love it. I made mention of just how clean my skin felt. Well this soap does all of that and leaves a silky moisturized feel at the end. I actually washed my hands with it first and was pleasantly surprised.
Investment: Approximately $3.00 USD (dependent upon location)
Ingredients: Soaps of coconut and palm, glycerin, lavender oil and other natural oils, Vitamin E, jojoba oil, olive oil, rosemary extract, ascrobyl palmitate

Oh boy! Now, this is a tough one. Natural after natural, vlogger after vlogger shows so much love to this product. I went and purchased this gel because I saw Sally's was having a sale. It took me months to use it.
As the ingredients journey continues I cannot help but notice the various types of water used in products. There is plain water, spring water, distilled water and even more variety. Isn't water just water? I'm afraid not.
