My, my, my...it has been awhile since I did my hair, yall!  What a shame, what a shame.  No seriously, it really was.  I comb my hair once per week usually and this time...well, let's just say my hair had started to lock, yall.  I know...pretty bad, huh?

This time, I decided to do myself a favor and go for a protective style.  I won't have to actually do my hair for a few weeks so I will be updating you with variations of this style for the next two weeks and then I'll move on to the next one.

I call this style, Twisty Locs.  I absolutely love locs, but I just cannot commit at the moment.  I decided to work with my own hair as if it were locked.  Guess what, it's not locked at all though.  Oh, and one more thing...these curls were achieved without the aid of rollers or rods. I used a total of two products to achieve this look.

SLS is a harsh detergent that is found in a number of our products and is quite dangerous.  Think about your skin absorbing harsh chemicals in extremely small amounts over time.  It adds up.
