Before I begin with this week's style let me first be completely clear and tell you that I am not solely responsible for this style. I was actually in the Elle International Hair Show as one of the models for Naturals Salon & Spa. The elements you see in this style were set by the owner, Chaunda 'Loc*Star' King. I had to clear that up, yall.

Here are some photos of the beautiful work she did on me for the hair show. She actually sprayed my hair with metallic gold spray, which I loved. It had folks thinking I had colored my hair all week! Thanks Chaunda for the experience! BULLET!

Once I got home, there were a few things I had to do. Number one - take makeup OFF! Makeup breaks me out and I don't really like it on me, but for the purposes of the show a sister did what she had to do. Number two - remove the peacock feathers. Man, I love some peacock feathers! I didn't want to take them out, but I had to go to work the next day and so I took them out. I saved them for future use, though. I'm almost sure they'll come in handy.
I already had the flat two-strand twists in the back with a straw set in the front. I decided to pull the twists up a tad bit tighter and bring the straw set to the front for bangs. So really all I did was move some things around and add few pins. Here's what I came up with. I call this one Twist and Straw.
Straw sets are long-lasting and an excellent style choice for relaxed or natural tresses. They are especially great for those transitioning to natural.
