Hey there, folks.  I must tell you that it is a shame that I as a stylist have not been doing my own hair.  Seriously, it's pretty bad.  How in the world can I expect someone to trust me to take care of their tresses if I am not taking care of my own.  I need to look the part, right?  Right.

This epiphany has prompted me to add a new series entitled Weekly Webcam.  Since I cleanse my hair each week, it would only be befitting to style it, too.  Hey, and while I'm at why don't I snap a few photos and share!? Yes, that is what this series is all about.  You will have the opportunity to view the variety of styles I'll be sporting on a weekly basis.  If I get lazy...you'll see that too and you can encourage me to 'tighten up'.  A sister needs it sometimes...LOL!

In addition to viewing the photos, you'll have the opportunity to vote on which style you'd like to learn how to do!  That's right, YOU will basically drive the YouTube channel.  To date I haven't posted many videos, so I'd love for you to simply tell me what you'd like to see.  This is a win-win for everyone!  Let's do this, family!

Without further ado, here is the style I rocked last week - The Pompadour.  I had already been playing around with up-do's and then I attended Felicia Leatherwood's workshop.  (Thanks for the inspiration, Felicia!) I was inspired and realized that my little up-do needed some work.  I had to make it bigger and better.  So, here's what I came up with.  People loved it!  I'm talking all ages, genders, races...people loved it.  Some days I even freaked it with a flower.  POW (not depicted here)!  Believe it or not, this style took me less than 10 minutes to achieve each morning.
