The Obsession

Can you spend an hour or more in beauty supply stores?  Do you have multiple subscriptions to or can't help but pick up the latest hair magazine?  Is your 'under the sink' storage area so full that you have a special product area for your impulse purchases?  It's offiicial - you're obsessed.

The Attitude

All Tressed Up is more than the name of a website, it's an attitude.  Ask anyone - when you look good you do for the most part, feel good.  This website gives the everyday woman and/or man the opportunity to share just how wonderful you are!  Are you All Tressed Up today?

Introducing KerryYanique, Resident Fashionista

E-mail Print PDF

This is not your typical bio.  I know this woman!  She is my friend and for years I have enjoyed watching the ensembles she puts together and even borrowing a few pieces every now and then!  Awhile ago, she was interviewed for her then fashion blog, Champagne Dreams.  Today, I introduce her as the visionary behind DressMeBeautiful and the newest addition to the All Tressed Up team!

KerryYanique is our Resident Fashionista!!!  *insert girly scream here*

KerryYanique obtained a BA in Fashion Merchandising from Virginia Commonwealth University and has resided in New York for a number of years working her way up the ladder from interning with a fashion consulting company to merchandising for Geoffery Beene and Kenneth Cole Men's Tailored.

In addition to her professional experience and blogging, KerryYanique founded DressMeBeautiful in January of 2012.  Dress Me Beautiful is a women's empowerment line of t-shirts, personalized charm bracelets and tote bags.  Inspired by a workshop she facilitated for DIVA Zone, KerryYanique decided to embark upon this opportunity to help women answer the question, "Why Am I Beautiful?"

The Kitchen: An Ingredients Journey

Well folks, we have decided to consolidate.  Once upon a time we shared ingredient information with you via a sub-domain.  Beginning today, we're bringing that content inside.  We want this to be in all-inclusive experience for you. The Kitchen will now live on on this very website!  No need to venture off to another website!

One of the goals of All Tressed Up is to create awareness in an effort to help you make the right choices when selecting products.  Ultimately, this will help you choose more natural products.  As you already know, the skin is the largest organ of the body.  We are smothering it with lotions, potions and scrubs that are full of chemicals.  Let's make well informed product choices and put an end to supporting products that are designed to produce profit while ignoring things such as side-effects after continued use.
