Angel Williams, Resident Natural Nail Expert The team has expanded! I told you we had a natural obsession with all things hair and beauty! I'd like to introduce you to the newest member of the team, Ms. Angel Williams. Angel Williams will be our Resident Natural Nail Expert. Her monthly articles will include tips, facts and news all about the natural nail - ranging from the nail itself to great new products.

Angel is a licensed nail technologist who made the decision to service natural nails only. Angel has been in the nail business for over 10+ years and is the owner and sole operator of Nature's Intent Hand & Foot Spa located in Richmond, VA. Not only is she in business for herself, but she is out and about judging nail competitions and even working NY Fashion Week.

We are honored to have such a wonderful spirit and resource join forces with All Tressed Up!

Beautiful Textures: Moisture Butter - Whipped Curl Creme

It was a typical day at the salon and in walks my gorgeous client with a little shopping bag. I paid it no mind until she spoke.

Client: "Okay, I don't know if this is okay, but I got a new product and wanted your to try it to see what you think."

Me: "Okay, let me take a look." *Flipping over to read label immediately* "Eh, for the most part the ingredients appear to be okay, but there are a few things that are questionable."

Client: "Yeahhhhh..." (She knows me.)

Me: "Let's go for it!"

Packaging

It is really nice. I've seen the Beautiful Textures line in Sally's and saw the product being used in action at the World Natural Hair Show. The bright color really makes it stand out and causes a bit on interest.

Fragrance

The product smells heavenly! It filled my salon with a lovely fragrance. My mentor stopped in and was taken aback by the amazing fragrance and said that it reminded her of bananas. It really does smell great!

The Kitchen

Calendula

I was first introduced to this herb through the best darn fashion manicurist in the world - Ms. Angel Williams! I inquired about natural remedies for my skin because I deal with this annoying breakout each and every summer. Ugh! It is totally a killer for sandal season!

She told me about calendula and shared that it was in fact a healing herb. Calendula is also great for wound healing and yields a soothing feeling for irritated skin. The tea of calendula can be drank and is rumored to aid with bladder infections, menstrual cramps and even pink eye!
